Kerio Connect 7.4 is now available from Kerio and we will be updating all our Kerio Connect servers to Kerio Connect 7.4 in the next few weeks.

Stronger SPAM Filtering
Kerio Connect 7.4 features a number of improvements to blocking spam. The AntiSpam engine has been updated to the latest version for increased spam-fighting effectiveness and efficiency. Administrators can now build an event stronger defense against spam with new Custom Rules definitions that apply Spam Filtering Actions to any text string found in the message body, in addition to any conditions found in the message header. Lastly, and transparent to most users and admins, the underlying Bayes database has been migrated from SDBM to SQLite to provide better stability and fewer data corruptions.
Full Web Administration on Apple iPad
The new iPad optimized web administration interface first introduced in Kerio Control 7.3, is now available in Kerio Connect 7.4, giving administrators full admin capabilities from virtually anywhere.
Tackle routine tasks like reset a user’s Password or send/clear Message Queue items from the coffee shop. Or create and apply User Access Policies, tweak Spam Filter settings, or browse logs to troubleshoot the mail server with ease from your son’s ball game. With new multi-gesture support, scroll logs faster with multiple fingers, two-finger tap to get contextual menus, and toggle to hide the menu tree to maximize screen real estate.
Leaner & Faster Kerio Outlook Connector (Offline Edition)
Several optimizations were introduced in this version which positively affect the time of the initial synchronization, folder creation (including search folders) and reading of data from the local cache. Performance tests show a 2x improvement in initial synchronization speed over Connect 7.2 and a 4x improvement over Connect 7.3. The overall memory footprint of KOFF was reduced by about 50%.
